1.Prodsuct Description:
2618 Aluminum Forgings
2618 is a kind of heat-resistant and deformed aluminium alloy which can be strengthened by heat treatment. Its working temperature can be up to 250 ℃. It is used to manufacture long-term working supersonic aircraft structural parts, such as fuselage and wing skin frame, tail wing, parts and components of low-speed aircraft whose working temperature is not higher than 150 ℃, and parts of jet engine whose working temperature is not higher than 250 ℃.

5.Prodsuct Feature
Aluminium / Aluminum alloys have high ductility and corrosion resistance. At subzero temperatures, their strength can be increased. However, their strength can be reduced at high temperatures of about 200-250°C. Aluminium / Aluminum 2618 alloy is an age hardenable alloy containing magnesium and copper.
Commonly used in the manufacture of aircraft engines.
