3003 H14 Aluminum Sheet is alloyed with 1.2% maganese to provide a tensile strength range of 17 to 30 KSI. 3003 has Excellen workability, weldability, and corrosion resistance.

3003 Aluminum Alloy contains Manganese as its major alloying element. 3003 Aluminum is an alloy with very good corrosion resistance and moderate strength. It is not heat treatable and develops strengthening from cold working only. 3003 Aluminum Alloy has good machinability and welding is readily accomplished by means of conventional welding methods. Commonly used in chemical equipment, ductwork, and in general sheet metal work. 3003 Aluminum is typically used in stampings and the manufacturing of pressure vessels, builder’s hardware, garage doors, awning slats, refrigerator panels, gas lines, gasoline tanks, heat exchangers, drawn and spun parts, and storage tanks. All of our 3003 Aluminum Sheet is protected on one side with a protective vinyl film.

3003-h14 vs 6061-t6

Aluminum 6061 T4 Sheet is solution heat treated and naturally aged giving it slightly lower tolerance accuracy than Aluminum 6061 T6, which undergoes artificial aging. T4 is also slightly less expensive than T6 and has a slightly lower ultimate tensile strength and yield strength, with a higher elongation percentage, which increases the formability of the T4 temper. Aluminum sheet 6061 T4 is also cost friendlier and has improved formability over T6. Aluminum T4 is solution heat treated, and naturally aged to a substantially stable condition.

6061 T6 Aluminum Sheet is an aluminum sheet prodsuct that is very versatile and has a wide range of applications. 6061 Aluminum sheet is made from one of the most widely used heat treatable aluminum alloys. This sheet has excellent corrosion resistance, good workability and good machinability. 6061 sheet applications include a wide variety of prodsucts from medical assemblies, aircraft construction to structural components. 6061 t6 aluminum sheet has a high strength to weight ratio making it ideal for any application where parts need to be light.
