Aluminium 6082 is excellent corrosion resistant and medium strength alloy. This alloy grade has the highest strength as compared to other grades of 6000 series alloys. It is also known as the structural alloy and is mostly used for machining. Moreover, the addition of manganese to this alloy controls grain structure that in turn results in the stronger alloy. However, the barss manufactured using this alloy grade have a smooth finish and used widely in several applications. These round barss possess various features like excellent corrosion resistance, tensile strength, durability, formability, excellent surface finishing, and long service life.
6082 heat treatment can be reinforced alloy, with good formability, weldability, machining, at the same time has medium strength, after annealing can still maintain good operation, mainly used in the mechanical structure, including rodss, sheets, tubes, and profiles. This alloy has similar but not identical mechanical properties to the 6061 alloys and has high mechanical properties in its -T6 state. Alloy 6082 is a very commonly used alloy prodsuct in Europe, also has a high application in the United States, suitable for processing raw materials, seamless aluminum tubes, structural profiles, and custom profiles. 6082 alloys usually have good processing properties and good anode reaction properties. The most commonly used anode reaction methods include removal of impurities, removal of impurities and staining, coating, etc.
