2024 aluminium bars is a typical hard aluminium alloy in the aluminium-copper-magnesium system, which is the largest amount of hard aluminium. Its composition is reasonable and comprehensive, and its copper content is not more than 5%. It is suitable for thick sheet, rolled or cold-finished bars, die forging, forging ring or rolling ring stretched according to specified quantity after solution heat treatment or cooling in high temperature forming process.
Aluminium 2024 is one of the most popular high strength Aluminium alloys when it is the heat treated condition. Due to 2024 high strength and excellent fatigue resistance it is commonly used on structures and components in the aircraft and transportation industries.

Prodsuct feature and application
The heat-treated reinforced alloy is a common medium strength structural material, which can prodsuce all kinds of semi-finished prodsucts. The commonly used T3 and T4, has high toughness and plasticity, good fatigue performance and anti crack performance, but poor corrosion resistance, less than 1mm thickness or molding, aluminum sheet and sheet should be used, the short transverse properties and stress corrosion resistance are poor, not fusion welding and brazing.
In a typical aluminum alloy, good performance, high strength, good heat tolerance, used in the manufacture of 150 DEG working parts, heat treatment strengthening effect, poor corrosion resistance, can improve the corrosion resistance of aluminum.
