1050 Aluminium alloy Rod is one of the most popular grades of Aluminium used today. 1050A Aluminium Round Bar has excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, moderate strength and a highly reflective finish. Mechanical properties


Tensile strength σb (MPa): 110~145. Elongation δ10 (%): 3~15. 

Heat treatment specifications: 

1) Complete annealing: heating 390~430℃; depending on the effective thickness of the material, the holding time is 30~120min; cooling with the furnace to 300℃ at a rate of 30~50℃/h, and then air cooling. 

2) Rapid annealing: heating 350~370℃; depending on the effective thickness of the material, the holding time is 30~120min; air or water cooling. 

3) Quenching and aging: quenching 500~510℃, air cooling; artificial aging 95~105℃, 3h, air cooling; natural aging room temperature 120h


Prodsuct Features and Applications


1050 aluminum alloy is formed by adding a small amount of copper to pure aluminum. It has excellent forming characteristics, high corrosion resistance, good weldability, and electrical conductivity.

Often used in daily necessities, lighting appliances, reflectors, decorations, chemical industry containers, heat sinks, signs, electronics, lamps, namesheets, electrical appliances, stamping parts, and other prodsucts. In some occasions that require high corrosion resistance and formability, but not high requirements for strength, chemical equipment is its typical use.

Widely used in prodsucts that do not require high strength, such as chemical instruments, thin-sheet processed parts, deep-drawn or spinning concave vessels, welded parts, heat exchangers, clock surfaces and disc surfaces, namesheets, kitchenware, decorations, reflective appliances, etc.
